What is H2Ohio?

H2Ohio is Governor Mike DeWine's statewide initiative to improve and protect Ohio's water quality through science-based, long-term conservation efforts. The program supports projects that reduce phosphorus runoff, restore wetlands, address failing septic systems, and prevent lead contamination. One way to reduce phosphorus run-off in Ohio is through monitoring fertilizer application to agricultural fields. Farmers can sign up for H2Ohio contract in return for money back if all requirements set by the state are met. Contact our office for more details.
