Registration - Envirothon

HOW TO REGISTER:

1.The Advisor will complete a  2024 Area 2 Team Registration Form.  (listing Team name, members, alternates, shirt sizes, etc.)

2. EACH Team member, including Alternates and Advisors MUST complete  & sign a 2024 Area 2 & Ohio Envirothon Release Form.

FORMS TO BE TURNED IN:

3. The Advisor will turn both the TEAM REGISTRATION FORM and the RELEASE FORMS into  WAYNE SWCD's by the FIRM Deadline of FRIDAY, MARCH 22nd 2024, by the end of the day!  Their County SWCD will be notified by Wayne SWCD, or the Advisor can also send a notice to their local County SWCD District, but this is not necessary. What is necessary is that all forms to turned into WAYNE SWCD via snail mail, dropped off,  or scanned and e-mailed to Kelly Riley at kriley@wayneohio.org .  FINAL Deadline is FRIDAY, MARCH 22nd 2024 to WAYNE SWCD.  Please write your home County on both  Forms.  

The forms must be received by this deadline.  If you choose to mail the address is Wayne SWCD, 428 W. Liberty St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.  Please make sure to allocate USPS letter/packaging time to make the deadline on Friday March 22, 2024, as we must adhere to these rules and deadlines.  Thanks for understanding.  Any questions or concerns, please give us a call! 330-263-5376

4. When registering your team or teams, it is highly encouraged that you list alternates on your registration. Team can compete with less than five students at the Area level, but they will NOT be eligible to advance to the state level with less than five team members.

Event Area II Envirothon Tentative Schedule Weds. April 24, 2024

 

7:30 a.m.             Staff/Volunteers Arrive

8:30 a.m.         Registration.  Team Captian Check-in.  

9:30 a.m.             Welcome and Orientation

10:00 a.m.       Competition begins

12:30 p.m.      Lunch (grab & go if you need to leave) 

1:15 p.m.         Awards Ceremony - Top Four and Top Stations

1:45 p.m.            Departure

NOTE:  Team Advisors will get a confirmation e-mail sometime in Early April - as a reminder and have more detailed information.

After the Envirothon, Advisors will get the final scoring and test results e-mailed when it is approved.  This will also be POSTED on the website.
